**Job Summary**

We are looking for motivated machinists to set-up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines. We offer a positive environment, flexibility, benefits, and the opportunity to grow within our company.

**EVENING SHIFT PREMIUM 2.50$/Hour**

**SCHEDULE: MONDAY to FRIDAY**

**In this role, key responsibilities may include**:

- Inspect machine condition and ensure scheduled maintenance has been completed before it is put into operation
- Set-up and operate vertical milling and/or lathe CNC to machine parts as per drawing
- For each new set-up, provide the first conforming machined product to inspection for verification
- Clean up left over material and clean work area as required
- Complete all operations in a safe manner
- Suggest improvements to manufacturing method on provided set-up improvement sheet.
- Enter production times and quantities into ERP system.
- Stamp and fill out work order (traveler) once traveler steps are complete.

**What qualifications are we looking for?**
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience. Have conventional, Lathe CNC machining or sheet metal experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand job requirements & drawings (inhouse & customer documentation)
- Must be very versatile so as to develop other type of machining/inspection ability.
- Must be proactive.
- Able to work within a team environment.

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
