Canine Hydrotherapist

Objectives of this Role
- Deliver outstanding customer service to pet owners by communicating clearly and honestly, and bringing a positive attitude to work each day.
- Being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult animals
- Protect the best interests of our customers and their pets, notifying owners of any concerns, including skin abnormalities, ear infections, ticks, and fleas
- Help our organization continue to grow by forming fruitful relationships with customers that result in repeat visits

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
- Supervise and direct canine hydrotherapy sessions using a underwater treadmill

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with senior dogs
- Comfortable working with dogs, including anxious ones
- Ability to stand for at least two hours and lift heavy animals over 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques on the job
- Practiced verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team with other professionals
- Good attention to detail

**Qualifications**:

- Certified Rehab Practitioner
- Registered Vet Technician
- Completed a course on canine hydrotherapy
- Demonstrated passion for animals
- Prior experience
- Experience working working as a vet technician

**Salary**: $13.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
