**We are looking for an energetic, self-directed professional to join our Team as a General Radiology Support Person. This is a casual position.**Flexibility is required for Weekdays (Fridays) and Saturdays (8am to 1pm). Reporting to the GenRad Manager and working closely with the entire Genrad Team,

**Overview**:
GenRad Support ensures optimal functioning of the GenRad department by assisting with logistics, patient preparation, and equipment readiness. This non-imaging role supports technologists and enhances the patient experience.

**Key Tasks**:
1. Escort and prep patients

2. Organize requisitions

3. Clean and stock imaging rooms

4. Assist with paperwork and scanning

5. Relay updates between teams

6. Taking inventory and ordering supplies

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Enhance Patient Flow**
Guide patients to and from exam rooms, assist with preparation instructions, and ensure timely transitions.

**2. Maintain Room Readiness**
Disinfect equipment, restock supplies, and support technologists in minimizing delays.

**3. Organize Documentation**
Help with requisition flow, filing, and communication between the front desk and technologists.

**4. Assist with Cross-Team Coordination**
Act as a liaison between technologists and clerical team to reduce bottlenecks.

**Expectations**:

- Be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly with staff and patients
- Maintain discretion with patient information
- Prioritize cleanliness and order

On the technical side, you must have a strong knowledge of computers, including data, on-line purchasing and easily able to learn new programs. Good command of English, written and verbal. The role is very fast paced and physical, this is not a desk job You must be energetic, physically able to lift 25 lbs and stand on a step stool. Must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Pay: $18.73-$19.80 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
