Technical Advisor

Federal Mufflers is seeking a full-time Technical Advisor. The Technical Advisor communicates directly with the customers and works to meet their maintenance and repair expectations.

This position acts as a liaison between the mechanic and the customer. Strong communication French and English is a must. Minimum of 2 years Customer service skills are essential.
Must also have the ability to properly popularize and explain technical aspects to customers.

**Duties**:

- Understand the customer's needs and provide a complete solution;
- Respond quickly to customer inquiries, either by phone or in person;
- Handle sensitive situations in a professional manner;
- Perform and analyze repair orders with customers;
- Estimate the cost and duration of maintenance and repair interventions. Ensure that the final invoice is in accordance with the estimate and that the vehicle is delivered on time;
- Schedule maintenance and repair work;
- Use work order management software.

**Desired profile**:

- Knowledge of market trends in the automotive service industry;
- Knowledge and understanding of automotive mechanical components;
- Ability to work effectively with automotive parts ordering and work order management software;
- Valid driver's license in the province of employment.
