**Your Opportunity**
The Certified Prosthetist or Certified Orthotist will work within an interdisciplinary team to serve inpatients as well as outpatients within Northern Alberta.
The position reports to the Manager of Prosthetics, Orthotics and Specialized seating at Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. The clinician will assess patients and design and fit custom prostheses working closely with prosthetic technicians.

**Description**
As a Certified Prosthetist you will be accountable for the provision and coordination of prosthetic services. You will be responsible for assessment, design, fabrication, fitting and adjustment of all types of prosthetic devices.
**Required Qualifications**
- 2 year completion of a post
- secondary diploma in clinical prosthetics at an Orthotic Prosthetics Canada accredited school.
- Certification with Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC).
- Residents may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years' experience of practice.
- An ability to lift to 50 Lbs. and spend most of the day standing/walking.
- Good record of safety in the workplace.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with ConnectCare is an asset.
- Experience using Microsoft Access, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience using Vorum and Omega scanning software.
- Experience with upper limb prostheses.
