Manager of Counselling Services

**Job Summary**
The Manager of Counselling Services is responsible for the organizational development and management of all Counselling programs and services offered at Family Service Kent. The Manager is responsible for maintaining a professional and compassionate therapeutic culture for individuals across a diverse community, including cultural background, gender, and economic standing.
**Responsibilities**
- Work alongside the Executive Director and Managers to help achieve the mission and vision of Family Service Kent.
- Provide oversight/leadership to the Counselling department.
- Establish, review, and maintain a strategy for the Counselling program.
- Lead and supervise Counselling team members and foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Ensure that all areas of the program are equipped for excellent service and appropriate coverage.
- Participate in the development of the Counselling program budget.
- Provide oversight to the local Family Service Employee Assistance Plan (FSEAP) program and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Oversee the workload of program staff through supervision and the monitoring of file/caseload reviews.
- Create and maintain procedures for the Counselling team.
**Qualifications**
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent
- Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (RSW) or eligibility to be registered
- 3-5 years management experience
- 5 years experience providing counselling to individuals, couples, families, and groups
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $35.72 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
