Our company is looking to fill an entry level position of Field Technician to work with our team in the field. Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company is available based on performance. Certifications, degrees and professional past experience is not required, as job training will be provided.

The individual in this position must be able to drive, travel and perform all duties related to equipment operations and maintenance services. This position requires a high level of physical endurance and attention to detail, but also allows for flexibility in scheduling. Applicants must have the capability of frequently lifting heavy equipment, as well as be familiar working with power tools and construction materials. Fluency in English is mandatory due to the communication requirement in the safety aspect of the position.

General Position Requirements and Overview:

- Labour field work pertaining to infrastructure monitoring and maintenance projects; training provided.
- Cleaning, organizing, mobilizing, and demobilizing company assets.
- Ability to work in a team environment, and be individually motivated.
- Hold a valid Canadian drivers license, and clean driving record.
- Travel throughout B.C. is required. Company vehicle provided during work hours.
- Projects encompass indoor and outdoor tasks, in various weather conditions.
- Typical daytime hours is normal. Nights and weekend availability is required on limited projects.
- Maintain professional conduct in the workplace.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Working in manholes and confined spaces such as water reservoirs, storm, sanitary and combined sewer systems. First Aid and Confined Space Entry training will be provided by the employer.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
