Self-contracted, 2 weeks (July 8-12, July 18-22) 8:45-4:00/day, (plus any prep time that you may need for yourself ) Looking for an outgoing, engaging, creative individual, who is excited to teach the new generations how to become confident young performers in the performing arts. Our summer camp program consists of singing, acting and dancing (of which you would be responsible for singing and acting), making the need to teach students how to be their "best selves" the most important aspect of what you teach them every day. Ages range from 4-7years old. Qualifications/Education University/college graduate of a Dramatic Arts program and/or 5 plus years of amateur theatre experience as an adult ECE are encouraged to apply, and a program can be built with the owner to implement. 3 + years worked/volunteered in children's programs First aid/CPR (not an absolute, but preferred) A clear criminal record check (for the vulnerable sector) no older than 1 yr. **Skills**:Ability to be impulsive and productive at the same time Ability to see the potential in every child, not just in the "superstars". There could be 15 campers at one time, so it's important to really see each one. Flexibility and professionalism are a must Ability to manage the program on your own with one assistance for the full week. Contact with parents will be mínimal, and administrative needs will be taken care of. Abilities to keep children engaged all day with a variety of activities toward performance enjoyment. The children will do a presentation for their caregivers at the end of the week.
