We are looking for positive and motivated individuals that are dedicated to health and fitness promotion and working collaboratively with our Physiotherapy team. Our ideal Kinesiologist will have completed Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics or Kinesiology with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Previous experience working with clients for functional testing, work simulations, functional exercises and work conditioning will be considered an asset for this position. If you are looking to work in a progressive environment, alongside a highly motivated, friendly and compassionate professional team, this is the place for you. **JOB DESCRIPTION** The Kinesiologist will provide exemplary care to our clients in the areas of Clinical and Occupational Health in accordance with practice standards. The Kinesiologist will work in a physiotherapy clinical setting providing health and wellness solutions to our clients. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Responsible for the functional assessment and outcome measures of clients streaming from our unique Trillium, MVA and WSIB populations. - Responsible for implementing educational and functional exercise programs for Trillium, MVA and WSIB clients - Collaborates with physiotherapists to execute exercise plans for our Enhanced Physiotherapy clients. - Provides discipline-specific clinical care to identify and integrate safe, best practices and exemplary care. provide high-quality therapy services to our client base - Ability to motivate and inspire patients during treatment and or consultations. - Actively seek out prospective patients and promote EPA Physio products and services. - Keep clean and maintain the gym areas. **Position Requirements**: - Registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (in good standing) and have liability insurance. - Experience with Functional Abilities Evaluations, Post Offer Employment Testing an asset - Specialized exercise certification like BoneFit or GLAD is also an asset - Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of EPA - A positive, professional, and flexible attitude, dynamic and energetic personality - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology - Registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario - Embraces and promotes a clinical fitness approach - Prior experience in a Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation setting is an asset **What we Offer** - Competitive total compensation package which includes vacation pay, holiday pay, full benefits and participation in the company pension plan (when applicable for full-time staff) - Generous educational allowance and paid professional dues - Annual Fitness Allowance - Growth and Development opportunities to manage our specialty programs **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 15-20 per week **Salary**: From $18.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Employee assistance program - Store discount - Wellness program Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: Eramosa Physiotherapy's COVID-19 protocols are in line with the Ministry of Health recommendations for Regulated Health Professionals. **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
