Overview:
The Valet Attendant is the creator of first impressions, providing prompt, friendly service. The incumbent in this position is responsible for safely handling guests’ and patrons’ vehicles to ensure proper parking, securing, and handling of keys.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be courteous and pleasant at all times, while remaining businesslike.
- Warmly greet everyone at the property and acknowledge all those who are exiting, opening door for residents and visitors (where applicable).
- Responsible for recording any damage that exists on residents/guests automobiles prior to accepting/parking the vehicle.
- Responsible for locking the vehicle and correctly securing the keys.
- Responsible for keeping the driveway clear of any cars that need to be parked.
- Responsible for returning the vehicle to residents/guests in a prompt manner and in the same condition as when the resident/guest left the vehicle to be parked.
- Required to keep the valet area and surrounding environment clean.
- Fully conversant will all rules, policies and procedures and will acquaint new staffers with the department and their jobs.
- Report to Security Department and Management any unusual and/ or suspicious activities observed on the premises.
- Make recommendations to enhance and improve service to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the information flow to and from management/residents, covering all areas from policy and procedural updates to special events and their impact of the property.
- Adhere to proper ticketing and validation procedures.
- Follow property procedures for handling incidents and accidents.
- Ensure all keys are handled according to key control procedures for all valet parked vehicles.
- Ensure all keys and cars are properly logged.
- Complete all required reports and paperwork.
- Wear issued uniform and ensure that it is maintained to Hard Rock standards.
- Ensures that resident and guest service is maintained at or above levels and that criticisms are dealt with in a professional, expedient and positive manner.
- Make use of personal contact with residents as a means of gathering feedback.
- Comply with all policies and standard operating procedure of the property.

Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving abstract to be provided annually
- Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission vehicle.
- Must have a friendly and outgoing personaltiy.
- Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace,while maintaining attention to detail.
- Able to handle stress arising from management of operations and volume of work.
- Must be of the age of 19 or above.

SKILLS
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to be punctual and meet deadlines
- Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as a part of a team
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional exterior setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, and loud/noisy environment.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to varying outside weather conditions.
- Must be tolerant of moderate to severe weather conditions.
- Must be able to walk/run 90% of shift and stand 10% of shift.
- Must be tolerant of running, stooping, and bending for long periods of time
