About the Role

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct audit testing on low risk areas with supervision, for the evaluation of design and operating effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting and identify reportable issues
- Ensure working papers are adequately documented and audit evidence is sufficient
- Determine compliance with policies and procedures
- Assist with updating documentation of key business processes and internal controls over financial reporting as required
- Perform other duties in the R&C department as assigned

About You

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- University student working towards an undergraduate degree
- Solid accounting knowledge - having completed a basic level accounting course would be desirable
- Basic understanding of auditing principles would be desirable
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and detailed-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal) required
- Strong computer skills are required (e.g. Microsoft office - excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
- Ability to work independently
