**About us**

Graceview Residence is a privately owned and operated senior care residence in the heart of the Valley. Location in Victoria Vale, NS, only a few short mins from Middleton.

We offer long-term care and respite services, providing a home style, hoslistic care to all seniors.

Resident Care Associate

**Duties**:

- Provide care services to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with medication reminders and administration, following proper protocols
- Engage in meaningful interactions with residents, promoting socialization and companionship

**Skills**:

- Compassionate and caring attitude towards elderly individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience and understanding when dealing with residents who may have physical or cognitive limitations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
