We are dedicated to your success. **Job Description**: REF: #007 ADGA Group Consultants has an immediate opportunity for a "Life Cycle Material Manager Technician" to start on a multi-year Defence program. We have been providing support to this program for 20+ years Tasks include: - Conduct studies and analysis to provide technical solutions to technical, logístical or operational requirements and problems. - Define standards and criteria relevant to equipment or systems maintenance. - Suggest, prepare, modify or update specifications and drawings, as required. - Suggest, prepare, modify or update maintenance handbooks, parts lists, operating manuals and technical instructions and orders. - Perform CM tasks through the utilization of tactical information systems (TacIS) and other IT tools and databases. - Monitor and report on material under management including cataloguing activities, spares, replacement parts, obsolescence issues, upgrade options, and divestment activities. - Perform analysis of maintenance, repair and overhaul data. - Investigate UCRs and TFRs, and update maintenance concepts. - Prepare data for initial provisioning and repair parts scaling. - Review disposal certificates, making appropriate recommendations. - Track and analyze updates to supported items and provide advice of impact to current equipment and systems. - Provide ILS expert advice to internal and external stakeholders to field supportable and maintainable equipment. - Conduct analysis, develop and validate special tools and test equipment requirement for current equipment and system. - Collect and collate maintenance concepts for various components of current equipment and system. - Liaise with stakeholders to address maintenance gaps, propose and develop maintenance processes. **Qualifications**: - Experience in the preparation of technical documents such as: requirements, specifications, checklists, bulletins, reports, proposals, equipment disposal plans etc. - Experience with developing briefing notes, and presentations to address technical and logistics issues pertaining to equipment. - Experience liaising with stakeholders to support the life cycle management of equipment. - Experience providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management. - Will need to have a: - Bachelor of Science or in a suitable technical field required to support the Land C4ISR (Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) "OR" - College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology or in a relevant technical field required to support the LCSS (Land Command Support System) "OR" - A demonstrated Qualification Level 6B (QL6B) in a relevant technical field required to support the LCSS and a demonstrated minimum substantive military rank of Warrant Officer in the CAF. - Must be able to demonstrate (in your resume) at least 6 years of experience with a minimum of 6 of the following tasks: - experience using a recognized Process framework or using an LCMM Handbook. - experience working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (such as SAP) for equipment cataloguing. - experience working on ERP for maintaining and developing checklists. - experience working on ERP for coordinating equipment distribution. - evaluating and providing solutions to deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports (TFR) and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCR) - analyzing Statement of Operational Requirements (SOR) Additional Information - Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Federal Government Secret Level 2 clearance, Visitor Clearance Request and Controlled Goods Certificate.
