Pihesiw Lodge is looking for a Cultural Support Worker to join our team.

Daily workflow consists of cooking, cleaning, supervision, and recreation support. Team members serve as positive role models and support the use of cultural teachings and skills with persons served. Our team uses a collaborative approach to organizing service delivery throughout the day.

Experience or Knowledge:

- 1+ years of experience in a human service field
- Work Experience with Children, Adults, and Families
- Mental Health & Addictions
- Group Living

Additional Skills/Abilities:

- Understanding of Indigenous Culture and Practices
- Organization & Planning
- Interpersonal Communication
- Professional Boundaries
- Time Management
- Problem Solving
- Ability to lift/maneuver 25 lbs safely.
- Effective Oral Communication
- Consumer Level Technology Abilities
- Ability to follow PPE and Safety Protocols

Applicant Requirements:

- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License & Abstract
- Two Employment References

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
