Kaltech Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Industrial Painter. We have specific customers, that require their Machinist Parts, painted.

This is where you come in

We need someone reliable, steadfast, and resourceful who has a number of years experience at painting **Machinist Parts**.

This would mean, you can troubleshoot. Do you have the correct thickness on the parts? Do you need to add any metal cleaner to the rotation to allow for more accurate painting? Is the temperature outside, or inside going to affect the drying time? etc

**Application Methods**:
Hand-held sprayer or by hand

**Weight Handling**:
Up to 50 lbs (we have cranes and forklifts for anything heavier)

**Type of Product**:
General metal products

**Type of Industry Experience**:
Manufacturing

**Specific Skills**:
Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat

Select appropriate paint or paint mixes

Prepare and mix solutions according to formulas or specifications

Clean and maintain equipment

Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices

**Work conditions and physical capabilities**:
Repetitive tasks

Manual dexterity

Hand-eye co-ordination

Standing for extended periods

Bending, crouching, keeling

**Other Tasks**:

- When not painting
- you will be loading or offloading trucks via forklift. We don't have a lot of traffic however._
- You will also be signing off and ensuring the correct amount and type of product has been received._
- You will be loading freight into crates and packaging them to transport safely._
- There will also be a shop helper, that you will be working closely with and helping with this task._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Almost all of our staff works on their own/ not beside anyone else. We schedule everyone's lunches so there is a max. of 2 people in the lunch room at a time. You must do a temperature check and questionnaire daily upon arrival, as per prov. guidelines.
