Store Manager

To contribute to the successful financial growth of the company by ensuring customer service exceeds beyond expectations, operational integrity in how we operate, and development and promotability of our human resources. Responsible for the overall results of a single store location.

Primary Responsibilities
- Analytical and strategic management of sales and wage budgets to determine and launch actions to meet/ exceed goals
- Entrepreneurial innovation to utilize all tools / support available and within framework of business to develop creative approaches to driving the business results
- Monitor sales and financial results and takes appropriate action at store level and communicate needs to supervisor
- Ensure store actions optimize sales, merchandise investment, wage investment and minimize stock shortage
- Ensure disciplined control of all store expenses
- Maximize personal sales at all opportunities to meet or exceed all measurable sales goals
- Provide a friendly and welcoming environment
- Understand and enhance the customer’s experience
- Communicate effectively with customers to determine needs
- Demonstrate ways to increase personal and store productivity
- Demonstrate how new merchandise can mix with existing stock and previous purchases
- Communicate merchandise opportunities / customer feedback to supervisor
- Handle multiple customers and multiple purchases at fitting rooms by following all policies and procedures for fitting room service
- Partner with District/Area Manager to learn more about the company and personal development opportunities
- Communicate store deficiencies i.e. lighting, fixtures, visual standards
- Ensure ease of customer shopping experience through visual presentation and overall store maintenance
- Work hand in hand with store management to plan and execute monthly directives/store flips
- Understand and support the visual direction
- Model and ensure dress code and image compliance
- Ensure store meets merchandising and maintenance standards
- Clean, vacuum, and maintain store standards
- Service and sell to customers from all sections in the store
- Actively participate in all merchandising activities including, but not limited to: daily stock maintenance, and product transfers
- Encourage empowerment, reinforce ownership and lead a positive work environment
- Ensure management and associates clearly understand and meet job expectations
- Select, train and motivate management and associates to meet their responsibility of a full and functional team
- Schedule and facilitate training sessions where needed to develop individual and overall team skills and abilities
- Model and coach selling cycle as well as other skills
- Provide store management and associates with continuous performance feedback and necessary training to assist them to meet current and future position requirements

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
