**As our Telecommunication Technician, you will be responsible to**:

- Execute fibre optic network installations in various locations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality requirements.
- Pull cable from device to network rack or room.
- Install conduit.
- Create an IP network.
- Install cameras, access control, intrusion, and environmental devices.
- Complete network terminations and testing
- Boost cell and Wi-Fi signal.
- Program and install phone systems.
- Complete fibre terminations
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to identify and rectify network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and optical transceivers.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, as needed, to support network functionality.
- Conduct cabling, connections, splicing, and terminations of fibre optic cables as per project specifications.
- Test and verify network connections to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of fieldwork activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Generate reports on field activities, network performance, and issue resolution.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance and ensure seamless connectivity for customers.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers when necessary.
- Run small to large projects with a limited crew.
- Complete site surveys and estimates
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Valid class 5 with a clean Drivers Abstract
- Current safety tickets required: H2S, First Aid Level C CPR & AED. CSO, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Protection
- Proficient in fibre optic cable installations, terminations, splicing, and testing.
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment, network infrastructure, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
