**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Amsted Automotive Group, London, Ontario**, is looking for a highly motivated CNC Machining Specialist to join our team. The CNC Machining Specialist will drive continuous improvement, lead troubleshooting activities, and support CNC Tech direct reports on alternate shifts.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Production/Maintenance: Floor level problem solving activities champion.
- Production machining process knowledge developed, and process improvements implemented. Process variation identified and minimized.
- Cycle time optimization.
- Information systems developed and maintained.
- Training of production and setup personnel.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to CNC Techs and production personnel.
- Support procurement, acceptance, and installation of new machining cells/equipment into Means facilities.
- Develop and enhance machine tool and equipment build standards in accordance with new technology materials and best practices.
- Operating procedures developed, implemented and training initiated. Update and amendments as required.
- Work with maintenance and quality.
- Promote and practice Company Ideal Behaviours

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED**
- CNC machinist diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in tooling, manufacturing and engineering
- Extensive experience in a Metal Stamping Manufacturing Environment
- Exceptional communication skills with experience in effectively supporting customers and managing suppliers
- Team oriented and highly motivated
- Tooling and program leadership experience
