**Job Description - Retail Store Associate (Seasonal)**

**SUMMARY**

We have an exciting career opportunity for a seasonal retail store associate to become part of our team As a retail store associate, you will be providing a courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers, along with displaying and maintaining a fresh and visually appealing seafood showcase. This role will be reporting to the Store Manager.

**KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Manage the cash register and operate the POS system.
- Provide premier customer service, immediate and undivided attention, including greeting customers and responding to questions.
- Ensuring that the display of seafood items look fresh, stocked, and tidy.
- Taking customer orders accurately in person or over the phone.
- Selecting, preparing, and packaging the products as per customer’s request.
- Weighing and pricing seafood for sale.
- Participate in the sale of items and selling products.
- Maintaining Allseas’ high standards for product freshness and sanitation.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Experience in managing the cash register is required.
- Flexibility required to work any day during the week.
- Positive attitude.

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- 20 to 30 hours a week
- On-site, indoor store environment.
- Repetitive tasks.
- Attention to details.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Part-time
Contract length: 3 months

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8Z 5Z8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
