**Position Summary**:
The Food Service Sales Representative is responsible for the entire territory, including restaurants and distributors in the region.

- Post-secondary education in business, marketing or a related field.
- You already have at least 5 years of experience in the food industry or other related industries.
- A strong network of relationships with restaurants and distributors in the Ottawa area is an asset.
- You are a good communicator and negotiator; we tell you that all the time
- You have good ability to work under pressure, are structured and organized.
- You are a person who is open to change in a constantly changing environment.
- You have good computer knowledge (CRM, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.);
- You are bilingual, comfortable in both English and French.
- And if you're also an autonomous person with good time management, then we really need to talk

**Here's how you'd spend your days if you were working in this position**:

- Participate in the development of sales in the territory with distributors and restaurateurs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Ottawa area, including Gatineau, Kingston and Peterborough, Ontario.
- Develop close relationships with distributors' sales teams.
- Ensure that sales objectives are met and exceeded.
- Maintain the CRM (database) up to date.
- Continually seek out new business opportunities and be on the lookout for information on the competition.
- Follow-up ont complaints
- Provide product expertise, demos, and training to customers on our product offerings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards in all sales activities.
