**Overview**
We are an Earthworks & Deep Service company seeking a reliable and skilled 5 ton hotshot driver to join our team to do small equipment moves, material pick up/deliveries, fuel delivery & light mechanical work
**Duties**
- Operate a 5 ton vehicle to deliver skid steers, trench rollers, mini excavators, water & sewer materials
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, including heavy lifting as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with field staff to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch of goods.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
**Requirements**:
- Valid & clean class 3 driver's license preferred, Class 5 acceptable
- Experience in loading equipment on trailers via ramps
- Experience in securing equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as part of the job responsibilities.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the road and at delivery sites.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed based on delivery schedules.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week
