Corporate Securities Associate (Calgary)
The Blakes Securities group provides an exceptional opportunity for its associates to develop strong legal and client-service skills through work on local, national and international corporate finance transactions, public mergers and acquisitions, and other securities law and related matters.
Assist issuers, underwriters, and selling shareholders in domestic and cross-border public offerings and private placements of debt, equity, hybrid and structured finance products.
Assist with corporate governance requirements, stock exchange compliance, continuous disclosure obligations (including in respect of the emerging ESG disclosure regimes), and general regulatory compliance matters.
Assist with public M&A transactions, including take-over bids, plans of arrangement, and corporate reorganizations.
As a member of the Blakes Capital Markets group, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the best transactional work in the Calgary and Canadian markets with a highly respected team of top-tier lawyers.
