**Position Overview**

We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. Under the direction of the Coordinator of Food Services, the Dietary Aide will assist with preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining environment, and ensuring high-quality food service for our students and residents.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Food Preparation**
- Assist with rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure ingredients as required.
- Wrap, date-label, and store food items appropriately.
- Maintain correct serving temperatures and portion control.
- Store raw foods and supplies according to safety standards.
- Report any issues that may affect food service operations.
- Perform other food preparation tasks as assigned.

**Food Service**
- Set up dining tables in the main dining area.
- Serve meals efficiently, courteously, and in line with portion guidelines.
- Assist in setting up hot and cold food lines, yogurt, beverage, and fruit stations.
- Communicate resident/student feedback and suggestions to management.
- Perform other serving tasks as assigned.

**Cleaning & Sanitization**
- Clean and organize work areas, equipment, utensils, and service stations.
- Sanitize and disinfect kitchen and dining areas according to safety and hygiene procedures.
- Collect and dispose of garbage/trash as required.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of related food service experience preferred.
- Understanding of food allergies and modified diets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and operate cleaning equipment safely.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 - 22 per week
