Elio Volpe is seeking a full time Pastry Cook to join our growing team.

**Position: Pastry Cook (Full Time)**

We are looking for an experienced Pastry Line Cook to join our kitchen team. If you’re passionate about Italian cuisine, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you

**What You’ll Do**:

- Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing daily pastries and desserts to the highest standard.
- Maintain inventory levels for pastry ingredients and ensure proper ordering, handling, and storage protocols.
- Monitor food preparations and ensure that mise-en-place is up to standard for a smooth service.
- Create and manage prep lists for daily pastry needs and communicate menu changes to the Front of House.
- Help oversee the quality and consistency of products coming out of the pastry station.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Ability to work under pressure and keep a calm and positive attitude during service
- Strong understanding of kitchen techniques and food safety practices
- A genuine passion for food and Italian cuisine
- Ability to collaborate with the team and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- 5 shifts per week
