Tire and Lube Technician

**Position**: Tire and Lube Technician
**Location**: Subaru of Kingston
**Reports to**: General Manager / Service Manager / Lead Technician

**Job Summary**: The Tire and Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including tire services and oil changes, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of customer vehicles. The technician will also assist with other basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and tire replacements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, checking for safety and maintenance issues.
- Mount and/or Balance tires
- Top off vehicle fluids (coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, etc.).
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Follow all safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as directed by the service manager.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance preferred.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

**Working Conditions**:

Pay: $34,400.00-$45,056.79 per year
