Sales and Marketing Manager

**_CHALLENGES WE OFFER_**
- Manage the relationship and driving the business with each one of our joint venture (JV) partners;
- Work with and support JV’s on positioning and forecasting for the upcoming season with the Sollio procurement team;
- Create and develop a sales team for the wholesale fertilizer business that will grow customer base and net earnings;
- Responsible for developing and monitoring annual wholesale budgets by account manager and by customer; includes working closely with supply chain to ensure products are secured and placed in a timely manner;
- Continual look at growth opportunities through introducing new products, services or technologies that support the growth of both the wholesale customer and JV partner:
- Support acquisitions, operations and CAPEX planning;
- Work with partners on the day-to-day operations;
- Liaison between office support staff and JV locations;
- Assist the GMs in new business opportunities, governance and franchise/shareholder agreements and compliance;
- Support finding new opportunities for JV partners through acquisitions and optimization;
- Play an active role in industry groups such as CAAR, Fertilizer Canada and others to help with bringing best practises, industry policies and regulations back to Sollio Agriculture.
- Play a key role on the Senior Management team helping with the strategic direction for the JV partners and Sollio Agriculture, Crop Production, Western Canada.
