Physiotherapy Assistant: Immediate full-time position

About us...
- We are an independent outpatient physiotherapy clinic serving Lambton County since 2004.
- We treat all orthopaedic conditions, such as strains and sprains, pre & post-surgery, work related injuries, sport and active injuries and motor vehicle injuries.
- Our clinic focus is on providing high quality physiotherapy care to all of our patients.
- Our treatment consists of proactive, hands on approach to resolving all impairments.

- We are looking for an energetic, hard working and very personable individual to join our great team.
- Assists the physio to carry out each patient's treatment plan and exercise program
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Is organized, dedicated and can problem solve well
- The clinic will provide on the job training and use of any equipment in the purpose of treating clients.
- Other tasks may include administrative work duties such as billing, creating reports, scheduling, photocopying and answering phone calls.
- Pay to be negotiated
- There will be no weekend hours.
- It is preferable, but not required, that the individual have any formal training as a physiotherapist assistant or Kinesiology background.
- Anyone who has worked in the healthcare field and is knowledgeable in basic anatomy, medical terminology, body mechanics and the treatment of orthopedic injuries.
