**Key responsibilities**:

- Trimming, cutting, deboning, and grinding as well as weighing, and packing of meat and poultry products.
- Keeping inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery.
- Providing courteous, positive, and efficient customer service, responding to customer requests appropriately.
- Follow sanitation standards when cleaning equipment, counter tops and working areas to prevent meat contamination.
- Monitor sharpening and adjusting to all cutting and grinding equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned based on business needs, including end of day equipment and maintenance.

**Job Requirements**
- Post-Secondary certification and / or meat cutting training program.
- Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience, including knife skills in a large format retail food environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty.
- Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining multiple priorities and a high level of performance.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, as well as organizational abilities
- Driven and able to work independently under pressure in a fast
- paced environment.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be constantly standing for an entire shift.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
