An Extended Help provide home care assistance to seniors including individuals who are transitioning from the hospital to home, and individuals who live in seniors living facilities.

Full Job Description:
We are looking for casual with the potential of part time compassionate Caregiver to start immediately in Ottawa.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Caregiver is responsible for assisting with direct patient care within the scope of their practice.The Caregiver will ensure optimal patient care and assists the healthcare team to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients. The duties or responsibilities of the Caregiver include the components of direct patient care, nutrition, observation, documentation, transportation of patients and supplies, and general maintenance of the patient environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Working knowledge of spoken and written English and ability to take direction from appropriate professional. Optimal organization and prioritization skills with the ability to work well under stress. Must have flexibility in work schedule, weekends, days, evenings, and overnights. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with other staff members
- Additional related training and education a definite asset
