**The Opportunity**

Clean Harbors **Brantford, ON** is looking for a **CleanPack Chemist (DZ Driver) **to join their safety conscious team You will be responsible for driving a cube van or straight truck working both indoors and outdoors, picking up, identifying, segregating and packing waste materials from customer sites such as hospitals and refineries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Pick up waste from customers in the Brantford, Hamilton, Burlington, Kitchener and Niagara area.
- Ensures the proper utilization of equipment and operates the vehicle in accordance with all Transport Canada and Ministry of the Environment regulations.
- Responsible for collecting, identifying and packaging hazardous/non-hazardous waste produced within the customer facilities and preparing shipping documents.

**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
- **Class DZ License required**, Class AZ License would be an asset.
- **Background/knowldege in Chemistry is required.**:

- Experience driving a cube van or straight truck in various environments and weather.
- Previous lab packing experience preferred.
- Ability to manually load and unload truck.
- Previous experience in hazardous material handling/management preferred.
- Experience with TDG and O. Reg 347 is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment with great attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$31.00 per hour
