By embedding mental health services in primary care clinic settings, we aim to normalize seeking mental health support just as one would for physical health care.

The position is **IN-PERSON** at our private medical clinic, ExecHealth, inOttawa. You'll have the freedom to work independently while also being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary healthcare team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivering psychotherapy and/or counselling services following your regulatory body's regulations for individuals, families and couples.
- Build rapport and create safe therapeutic environments.
- Assessment and creation of treatment plans.
- Maintain confidential client records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on research and therapy techniques.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Minimum Master's level education in related fields.
- Registered and in good standing with the regulatory body.
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Strong assessment skills.
- Supervision as required based on your college requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; including oral and written communication skills, teamwork, and relationship building.
- Knowledge and experience using evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be an asset: CBT, DBT, Couples Counselling, EMDR, EFT, IFS and Trauma Informed.
- Motivated, passionate, hungry, and driven to build your practice significantly.
- Independent, entrepreneurial self-starter.
- Possesses a long term goal to build a thriving counselling practice in the Kerrisdale community.
