**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in Value Engineering, High Performance Computing with experience in technical sales, Strategy Consulting, or Account Sales in cloud computing or technology.
- Experience managing executive stakeholders.
- Experience in building quantitative value models or ROI models that incorporate the business and technical elements of creating a business case.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience with containers, serverless workflows, and automation.
- Experience in sales/consulting/value engineering, and the HPC, Infrastructure, AI, Data Management areas.
- Experience managing business executive stakeholders and navigating complexity decisively within their environments.
- Knowledge of value promoting methodology and processes, opportunities, value chain, and value realization across cloud technology.
- Understanding of the FSI, Biotech, HCLS and manufacturing industry and its use for HPC for their business needs.
About the job
As a Value Creation Principal supporting the High Performance Computing (HPC), you will be responsible for accelerating business growth and clearly articulating the value proposition and business case for our HPC product and service portfolio.
In this role, you will partner with the HPC Sales teams within Google Cloud to align to the highest priority opportunities to drive new bookings for HPC within new and existing customers. You will work with our financial services organization, manufacturing industry leaders and growing ecosystem of Founders and VCs promoting the value of Google Cloud within the Biotech Industry. You will work cross-functionally with our HPC product management, engineering, and benchmarking teams, bringing new solutions to market and developing value propositions, narratives and business cases built on critical use cases for each of these industries.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities**:
- Analyze client needs and propose alternative HPC, Infrastructure, AI and Data management solutions that deliver optimal performance within budget. Lead discussions to understand HPC, AI and data-intensive requirements to solve business challenges
- Develop and present cost-benefit analyses that demonstrate the value proposition of different options.
- Work closely with Product Management to create the benchmarks for performance and value narratives for the HPC solution by industry. Recommend optimizations to existing HPC infrastructure and workflows for increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to identify specific use cases that can be solved with Google’s HPC, AI, and Data Management solutions tailored to specific client requirements
- Build and maintain executive customer relationships, influence long-term strategy, gather feedback and act as a trusted advisor. Develop strategies for accelerating the business cycle in a fast-paced environment.
