**SUMMARY OF DUTIES**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Infrastructure & Operations the Infrastructure Solutions Analyst is responsible for developing, designing, validation and providing support on existing and new infrastructure solutions. This role is responsible for understanding business needs and collaborating with other technology stakeholders to deliver high quality, technology based, business solutions. The Infrastructure Solutions Analyst is a member of the Datacentre Operations team focused to mature and streamline intake process, and the service delivery of solutions for Infrastructure and Operations and organizational stakeholders.

This position is responsible for and has access to confidential / sensitive data and management.

**GENERAL DUTIES**

**IT INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM SOLUTIONING**
- Lead the analysis, design, identification and documentation of both system and business requirements for any infrastructure objectives and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with IT business processes to support and drive projects and service consistency.
- Communicate and collaborate infrastructure solutions in business and technical terms with leadership to ensure quality solutions that meet the organizational needs.
- Lead the resolution of system and business requirement issues and the transition and handoff from the project delivery team to the appropriate support team.
- Create test plans and estimates inclusive of evaluating and providing analysis on requirements documentation and identifying key areas of testing.
- Act as an advisor on enterprise boards such as EAB, and when engaged by Customer Relationship Managers following intake and process mapping.
- Lead changes on assigned projects within the Change Advisory Boards.
- Develop support / authority matrix and playbook/runbook for all supported systems.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on current system standards and IT department established methodologies.
- System and Infrastructure license management. (example - Microsoft, VMware, Oracle, Citrix).
- Cloud platform solution development and administration.

**SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES**

**PeopleSoft System**
- Responsible for the readiness and performance of the PeopleSoft HR and Financial systems through installing, monitoring, upgrades and fixes, and customizing the system as required. Coordinates maintenance and modifications to the systems with other technical support staff, development staff, and PeopleSoft functional leads.
- Installation/configuration of a PeopleSoft Database via the Configuration Wizard or manually with Data Mover.
- Weblogic Server Installation, Configuration and Administration of PIA Servers BEA Tuxedo Application Server Domain Installation, Configuration and Administration.
- Perform PeopleTools Upgrades, Major and Minor.
- Perform PeopleSoft Application Upgrades, compare projects, and analyze compare reports.
- Responsible for performing object migration between database instances, (e.g., development, testing, production).
- Apply, confirm and test vendor upgrades, patches and new releases to database environments including PeopleSoft Finance & HR, provide documentation as required to users outlining changes and/or new functionality.
- Responsible for upgrades to PeopleSoft systems including analysis of impact on customizations, identification of tasks for staff, development of project plans, and execution of upgrades.

**Network & Service Monitoring**
- Develop practices and processes for Network Analysts to analyze problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with site technicians and track problems through to resolution.
- Mature processes to steam line intake of new systems and services.

**Active Directory System**
- Manage and develop processes to eliminate administrative deficiencies to streamline automation and self-serve functionality for client bases and analysts within IT.
- Maintain and mature system tools (AD Manager Plus) to continuously improve the user/group management, system permissions, reporting and any future cloud integrations.
