**UNION POSITION**

Old Mill Toronto (OMT) Hospitality Inc., is a Toronto Landmark located at 21 Old Mill Road, conveniently a 5-minute walk from Old Mill Subway Station and we offer free employee on-site parking. OMT is known for its fine Dining Restaurant, multiple Patios, Afternoon Tea and live entertainment along with Banquet function rooms and a private Chapel.

**We are looking for a Smart Serve Certified Dining Room Server who will perform but not limited to the following tasks for our Service Bar, Patios and Indoor Dining from Thursday - Sunday.**

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- MUST have a minimum of 1-2 years of full-service bartending experience to be considered for an interview
- MUST be Smart Serve Certified
- Silverware experience is an asset but not required
- MUST live in the Greater Toronto Area

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greeting guests and taking his/her beverage and food orders
- Up selling on orders of beverage, main course and desserts
- Demonstrating complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- Accommodating reasonable requests for specialized diets and allergens
- Assisting in the set up tables and side stations
- Assisting in the training of new Servers and or Bussers
- Preparing guest(s) bills/tabs and collecting payment
- Communicating directly with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are to specifications of guest(s)

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
