Head Baker

British Pride Bakery is an **OMAFRA** **registered**, **Diamond award winning business**and has been growing since its opening in 2010. The bakery continually adapts with the economy and demand of the customer.

This position as a head baker will suit someone used to a **fast paced environment**, such as line cooks, chefs or someone with catering experience and comes with an attractive pay package and benefits after 3 months. Wage will be based on experience.

The right person will be a motivated individual who will be in charge of a small team and must be able to start at **5am, Monday to Friday.**

Position details:

- 5 am start, Monday to Friday
- Supervise small team
- Maintaining cleaning program outlined in OMAFRA regulations
- Run day to day operations
- Experience using a sheets and mixers an asset
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt and eventually teach concepts and methodologies to new bakers
- Maintain clean workspace
- A eye for detail and consistency
- Will report directly to the owner
- You will need to be able to lift20kg (44lb) *bags of flour, sugar, salt etc.

The job entails making baked goods from scratch. We bake with traditional British recipes and methods and provide full training due to the unique products we manufacture.

We have **five retail**locations and over **65 wholesale**customers across Canada

The pay is hourly and will be determined by your level of **experience**. Wages are paid every Friday. After **3 months**we offer **health benefits**.
