**_The Opportunity _**
- Reporting to the Vice President, Philanthropy, the Signature and Third-Party Events Specialist is an integral part of the Development team. This role is focused on achieving the Foundation’s goals and business objectives through the development, implementation, and evaluation of all special events as well as the fulfillment of all event sponsor obligations. _
- In addition, this role will be responsible for our Third-Party events + Peer to Peer fundraising initiatives: _
- _Manage relationships with third party event organizers. _
- _Build fulsome third-party event program with Foundation support thresholds. _
- _Research, cultivate and secure net new third-party events. _
- _Support peer to peer fundraising initiatives through digital and online support, in collaboration with the Communications and Marketing Team. _
- Also included in this role is hospital staff engagement: _
- _Lead the development, implementation, and management of program(s) to build a culture of philanthropy among the staff of St. Mary’s General Hospital. _
- _Collaborate with the Visual Communications Specialist on related design elements. _
- _Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist on the promotion. _
**_Key responsibilities include: _**
- _Leverage industry trends, past year results and database analysis to identify measurable portfolio objectives and develop an annual portfolio activity plan to drive revenue. _
- _In consult with the VP, Philanthropy, participate in annual planning, monitoring, and reporting of expenses related to the Signature Event portfolio initiatives. _
- _Work in partnership with the Communications and Marketing team to support promotion and recognition of special events, third-party and peer-to-peer initiatives, and hospital staff engagement activities, leveraging Foundation tools and communications channels. _
- _Lead the recruitment, management and stewardship of all Foundation event volunteers and committees. _
