**Company Overview**:Stong’s is your family-owned and operated local grocery store. Stong’s is committed to providing “Real Food for Real People” & offer Restaurant Quality food in a Grocery Store Setting. In addition, Stong’s offers an “Express” online shopping and delivery service with daily deliveries to locations across the Lower Mainland.

**Position Overview**:Stong’s is currently looking for part-time and full time “Express” shoppers to prepare orders for delivery in a timely and efficient manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards, and policies in all situations
- Shops orders in a timely and efficient manner and prepares them for delivery by packing items into totes
- Ensures that all items shopped for are of the highest freshness and carries out the highest accuracy possible for all orders
- Appropriately substitutes products for similar items if original items are not in stock or have been discontinued
- Provides customers with friendly interactions - both in person and over the phone
- Assists customers with their online orders when necessary
- Works with little supervision
- Compiles paperwork and receipts after each shopped order

**Des**i**red Qualifications and Skills**:

- Grocery experience is an asset, but willing to train
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.05-$21.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Grocery: 1 year (preferred)
