**Job Title**: Early Years Substitute
**Rate of Pay**:$19-$21/hour
**Hours of Work**:Hours may vary between 7:30am - 5:30pm
**Location**: 1330 Fairfield Road (Fairfield Gonzales Community Association)***

Our Early Years Programs run 5 days a week outdoor/indoor, exploration based that focuses on the power of
inquiry and empathy.

**Responsibilities **

Provide direct supervision of the children in our Early Years Program

Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

Act in accordance with the FGCA policies and procedures as well as within the requirements of all governing
agencies

Promote community awareness and participation in programs

Provide support to other Early Years programs with direction of the EYC and the Program Manager

Support related FGCA activities events and generally promoting the mission of the association

Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills

Work collaboratively with our Early Years team

With the support of the EYC, other ECE and facilitators, plan and deliver high quality child care services for
preschool, daycare and family drop programs.

**Qualifications **

Direct experience working in a licensed care setting with children aged 0-5

Minimum 19 years of age

Responsible Adult, ECE, or ECEA certification

Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills

Standard First Aid and CPR (C) and Criminal Record Check** **

Have completed a course, or combination or courses, of at least 20 hours duration in child development,
guidance, health and safety or nutrition** **

Must be comfortable and able to work in an outdoor preschool
