**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct routine inspections on the production floor to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the implementation of the Enhanced Food Safety Program by monitoring operational practices.
- Verify cleanliness of equipment and facilities; promptly report and follow up on any deviations.
- Assist in identifying, implementing, and auditing corrective actions for food safety concerns.
- Participate in investigations of customer complaints and help implement necessary corrective measures.
- Provide food safety guidance to production staff and support ongoing training initiatives.
- Contribute to GMP and facility audits to ensure operational standards are met.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the production process.
- Perform other QA/QC duties as assigned by the FSQA Manager.

**Experience**
- Post-secondary education in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Science, Food Safety, or a related field.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across various departments.
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in Chinese is a strong advantage.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 45 per week
