Blue Ridge Excavating is a family owned and operated company that provides comprehensive excavating services for its clients. We are currently recruiting for a Foreman who will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of designated jobs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily operations at designated jobsites
- Ensure work is conducted to meet project deadlines and requirements
- Manage and lead employees working onsite
- Train and develop the team to ensure they are equipped to complete their tasks
- Deal with employee concerns as they arise
- Conduct thorough job start inspections on each site
- Identify and address any safety hazards or challenges
- Conduct regular Health and Safety checks and host safety meetings
- Perform backfill inspections to ensure that completed work meets quality standards
- Maintain records of inspections and outcomes
- Coordinate project schedules and timelines with customers
- Deal with customer concerns to ensure they are satisfied with the project’s progress

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols and quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, manage time and stay organized
- Strong team player with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to train, mentor and develop a team

**Renumeration**:
