HIRING NOW for Snow Removal Subcontractors (with vehicle) - up to $60/hour
We are an established and reputable building maintenance company needing snow removal subcontractors to be on-call from October to March.
Limited spots are available and are filling up fast - contact us ASAP to be added to our roster (It is first come, first served)
**HOW IT WORKS**:

- This position is *on call*. This means, if it snows, we will call you in for work. You may be called in anytime day or night, but typically shifts start very early in the morning.
- You will be removing snow and salting. This involves the use of shovels, scrapers, chippers, push salt spreaders and snow blowers (depending on availability). We will provide the tools and salt but you must provide the vehicle.
- You will be paid hourly
- You may bring additional crew members to help, (they will receive an hourly rate but it will be paid out to you, it will be your responsibility to pay them)

**YOU MUST**:

- Have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle (ideally a truck/SUV) that can carry your crew and equipment;
- Be available when it snows - this could be day, night, evening, weekend, or holiday;
- Have a cell phone with a data plan, and be willing to use our app to track your work;
- Have General Liability Insurance of $2,000,000 (preferred but not required); and
- Have a WorkSafeBC Clearance Letter showing that you are in good standing (preferred but not required).

**WHAT WE PAY**:

- One person and a vehicle: up to $60/hr (depending on the size of the vehicle)
- Additional crew members: up to $30/hr
- 1.5x for hours worked on statutory holidays and
- Training is provided and paid upfront at up to $30/hr

**WE'RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO**:

- Are hard working and physically fit;
- Will be available when we need them;
- Live in the Lower Mainland;
- Are comfortable working in very cold temperatures;
- Have appropriate cold weather protective clothing (i.e. waterproof boots, gloves, layers, waterproof jacket, etc); and
- Are capable of shoveling snow for AT LEAST a 4 hour shift, but preferably 8 hours or more.
