Incorporated in 2012, Imago foods Ltd. is CFIA federally registered meat establishment providing meat and poultry product over GTA and across Canada. We’re one of the biggest meat wholesale and retail plant in GTA.

**Main duties**
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, according to customers' orders
- Remove bones from meat
- Grind and slice meats using machines
- Prepare special displays of meats and poultry
- Wrap and package prepared meats and poultry
- Remove bones from the meat
- Ensure that different parts of cuts are separated for easy packing purposes
- Manage inventory, keep production records and determine amount
- Ensure the food storage conditions are adequate and fresh
- Weigh meats for sale
- Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment
- Grind meats
- Slice cooked meats
- May train and supervise other apprentices

**Qualifications**
- High School education is required
- 1-2 years butcher/knife experience required
- Slicing machine and power grinder experience
- Previous experience in retail/wholesale butchery environment.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and work well with others
- Excellent hand-eye coordination skills
- Flexibility with work schedule when required
