As one of Canada's largest marine engineering integrators, we are looking for talented individuals to bring their skills to Fleetway as we lead the way in Canadian naval defence contracts (In Service Support). Our work is project focused on government ship design and support, including warships, ferries, ice-breakers and commercial vessels. We are looking for a qualified Supportability Program Manager for our Dartmouth, NS office.
Our **Supportability Program Manager** works within the Programs team planning the overall Supportability program and monitoring progress and performance to ensure milestones are met across the various projects.
**Key Responsibilities and Outcomes**:
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved (customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance)
- Working with the Technical leads in creating relevant KPIs for measuring and tracking progress
- Continuous communications with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
- Conducting program and project meetings and preparing reports to communicate the status of the projects within and beyond the project teams
- Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques to permit accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
- Integrating work processes of multiple stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve optimum balance of budget and schedule performance
- Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation to tasks and projects, including liaison with other departments and programs to secure specialized resources for the program
- Oversee the planning, execution, control and closing of portfolio of projects
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs
**Skill, Capabilities, and Experience**:
- University degree in Engineering
- 8+ years relevant work experience
- 4 - 5 years of working experience and knowledge in the Integrated Logistics Support field is important.
- Practical experience of having been a project/program manager
- Proven stakeholder management skills and experience managing a team
- Strong client-facing and internal communication skills, written and oral and exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PMP certification will be seen as an asset
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance
