**Job Purpose**

These positions are responsible for on site cleaning of the residential and common space areas at 416 Stafford Drive North. As an employee and representative of Lethbridge Housing Authority, the Supportive Housing Cleaner is expected to interact with tenants and people of varying backgrounds and perspectives and handle all tasks in a positive and professional manner.

**Reporting Structure**

Reports to: Director of Homelessness Support

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Works as part of a team and is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the building, which includes but is not limited to:

- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in all spaces.
- Sweeping, moping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Ensuring restrooms and other areas are stocked with necessary supplies like towels, toiletries, and cleaning products.
- Making beds, changing linens, and ensuring a fresh and clean environment.
- Emptying trash and recycling containers and transporting waste to designated areas.
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, particularly in bathrooms, dining room, and high-touch areas.

**Qualifications**

Must pass a Criminal Record Check

Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred.

Previous experience working with vulnerable populations is considered an asset.

First Aid and WHMIS certification preferred - training provided as required.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

**Physical Requirements**
- Physically fit and able to move upwards to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry, lift and hold items in different positions for prolonged periods.
- Requires standing for prolonged periods

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
