**Position Summary**:
Mini Miracles Daycare is looking to recruit a dynamic daycare teachers for our family style learning and awesome group of children, educators and families. This position will be primarily working with Toddlers and OSC children. This role also will provide care in various classrooms to a variety of age groups. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible, likes to have variety in their day and required to perform some physical lifting of children and movement of equipment such as toys, beds, etc

The position with Level 3 might initially assume the role of a room teacher with the intention of transitioning to a Floor Supervisor as opportunities arise in the futures

Centre is open 6am to 6 pm Monday to Friday

Shifts : 9am to 6pm

**Responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to)**
- Plan engaging age appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate children’s intellectual social, emotional and physical growth
- Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment
- Fostering positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Ensuring positive, professional communication with families on an ongoing basis, and respond promptly to all requests
- Enhance social skills in children such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving, conflict resolution and the ability to form meaningful relationships with their peers
- Delivering quality age-appropriate programs that are reflective of the varied interests of the group
- Participate in professional development including staff meetings, workshops and training
- Cleaning and tidying of the facility and ensuring the safe storage of equipment
- Report on a regular basis to Mini Miracles Program Supervisor regarding issues of need and/or concerns
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Level 2/3 ECE
- Minimum of 1 year experience in child care
- First Aid certificate
- Current police check dated within the last 6 months with Vulnerable sector search.
- Speak, write and read English (or good enough English to be understood properly by everyone

Pay: $15.00-$25.62 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
