We are looking for someone to join our team as a Part-Time Room Attendant

$17.60/hr during 3 month probationary period.

$19.56/hr following completion of probationary period.

Between 8 to 24 hours per week with the possibility of more hours in the summer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning tile floors, vacuuming and emptying trash
- Cleaning, disinfecting and polishing bathroom fixtures, surfaces, tile walls and appliances
- Strip and make beds, changing bed linens
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves
- Replenish all amenities, linens and supplies in guest room
- Ensuring linen closets and housekeeping carts are neat, clean and tidy at all times
- Responding promptly to all requests by guests and employees
- Informing managers of maintenance deficiencies, low supply levels and missing amenities
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with Health and Safety regulations
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
- Sort all linens and treat stains, load all laundry into washers and dryers, folding of linen, must be able to work in fast paced environment with little supervision

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a hotel Room Attendant considered an asset
- Available to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with guests and co-workers
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on an ongoing basis to fulfill job task
