At Park Landscaping, we specialize in high-quality landscaping and snow removal services across Edmonton. This winter season, we are expanding our team to meet the growing demand for reliable snow removal services.
**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated **Tandem Truck Driver** to assist with snow removal operations throughout Edmonton. This position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, a safety-first attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in challenging winter conditions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate a tandem truck to perform snow removal in various locations across Edmonton.
- Safely transport and dispose of snow at designated sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal condition.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational procedures while on the job.
- Assist with additional snow removal tasks, as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure the completion of tasks in a timely manner.
**Qualifications**:
- ** Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Q endorsement**.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Previous experience operating tandem trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of snow removal equipment and winter driving is preferred.
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures and harsh winter conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Strong physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
