Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice 3rd - 4th year local to Red Deer and area to join the Quinn Construction Maintenance team at the Ineos site near Red Deer, Alberta.

**This position is only for 4 days.**

Reporting to site supervision, the role of Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter will be expected to start on **Monday, June 23 to Thursday, June 26 for 4 days of work,** 10 hours/day, day shift only. This position will perform general pipefitter work at our client’s facility located in Joffre.

Steamfitter/Pipefitter lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shut-downs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
