**Job description**

Reporting to the VP of Concentrates and Innovation, the Extraction Associate (EA) will be responsible for assisting with all extraction related tasks and any other tasks as needed.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in preparing materials for extraction while maintaining strict inventory records.

Help maintain high levels of cleanliness in all aspects of the workplace including routine cleaning and sterilization of the equipment.

Maintaining production records with a high attention to detail according to Cannabis Act Good Production Practice (GPP) standards

Complying with Quality Assurance standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and other policies/guidelines

Other duties as may be assigned

**Education**:
High School diploma required and some post-secondary preferred or equivalent related work experience within manufacturing industries.

**Experience**

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production environment

Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and communication skills.

**Personal Attributes**:
Able to work in a team environment, but work independently when required

Ability to lift up to 40-50lbs repeatedly, and capable of standing the majority of the day

High attention to detail is a must.

Good (English) verbal and communication skills

Minimum 2 years of production environment experience

Cannabis experience not required but considered an asset.

Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time (i.e. gloves, lab coat, hair net, face mask)

Must be able to successfully complete security background/reference checks
