The Buyer is responsible for their own category of parts ensuring that all procurement activities align with organizational goals. This role involves selecting and maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of products and services.

Furthermore, the Buyer will identify and develop strategies in cost savings, lead negotiations with suppliers, advise & inform the other functions and guide the other buyers when requested.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers; maintain MCR file
- Maintain and build strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and facilitate resolution when issues met.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's needs.
- Place POs in the systems and follow-up with suppliers for critical orders.
- Create and maintain the quality of the data in the system: product/vendor information.
- Close liaison with the other operational functions about procurement changes (delays, costs )
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, including contracts, invoices, and order details.
- Address and resolve any issues related to the quality or delivery of purchased items.
- Work with engineering & quality departments for components for new programs.
- Maintain effective liaison with all departments to present alternatives offered by suppliers.
- Give guidance and leadership to the other buyers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply chain management, or other related fields
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
- Team-player.
